transpixel A really neat spider we found crawling on my brother's leg.  She's an Eris Aurantia, a kind of Jumping Spider. transpixel

transpixel Achaearanea tepidariorum, male, or common house spider.  This species is the one responsible for most cobwebs in houses and outside houses.  Although they look pretty creepy, they supposedly never bite people.  They eat cockroaches, which makes them good. transpixel

transpixel Cyclosa Conica (Garbage Line, or Trash Spider).  These spiders build nice webs, then decorate them with the remains of previous dinners.  You can see the gap in the middle where she would sit, looking like a piece of trash herself.  Looks like she's playing with an egg sac. transpixel
